Special Education School Accepting Enrollment Applications
Norwalk - Timothy Memorial School (TMS), a provider of special education programs for students with developmental and learning disabilities, is accepting enrollment applications for the 2009-2010 school year.
Enrollment will be limited to 10 students in grades K through 8 who will receive individually tailored academic, social, and functional education. Eligibility includes students with and without a special needs diagnosis.
School founder Kathleen Krenicki said TMS was founded to "provide an exemplary education using sensory, hands-on activities and success oriented approaches to learning and development."
Ms. Krenicki is a certified special education teacher who holds a master's degree in psychology. Her 27 years of experience include teaching in public and private schools.
Timothy Memorial School is named after LT Timothy Higgins - NYC firefighter, and Timothy Stout - Canter Fitzgerald, who lost their lives at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
